Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī is the internal, spiritual potency of Lord Krishna and the very source of divine love. She is recognized as the supreme devotee of the Lord; without Her mercy, one cannot approach Krishna. On this highly auspicious day, devotees gather to glorify Her boundless compassion, kindness, and devotion.
The Special Festival Program Features:
Maha-Abhishek: A beautiful, ceremonial bathing of the Deities of Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī with sacred substances, juices, and colorful flower petals, accompanied by devotional prayers.
Radha-Katha: An inspiring spiritual lecture exploring the glories, transcendental pastimes, and ultimate significance of Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī in our spiritual journey.
Ecstatic Kirtan: Congregational chanting of the holy names and special bhajans (devotional songs) dedicated to Radha and Krishna.
Maha-Arati & Puspanjali: A festive arati ceremony including the offering of flower petals at the lotus feet of Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī by all assembled guests.
Grand Radhashtami Prasadam Feast: A multi-course, royal Vedic feast prepared with love and devotion, served to everyone at the conclusion of the festival.
